Meet Jim Fayssoux

Before founding Fayssoux & Landis, P.A, Jim was a senior partner in Anderson, Fayssoux and Chasteen, P.A. for over 30 years. Initially, Jim’s practice concentrated on domestic and family law, personal injury, and criminal prosecutorial work through the City of Greer, South Carolina. While he has now been practicing for almost 52 years he is still passionate about the practice and the people around him.

Since mid-1980 his practice has focused almost exclusively on real estate law. He handles both residential and commercial transactions and real estate litigation. For 3 decades Chicago Title has recognized Jim as a leading title agent.

Previously, Jim was an active member of the United States Army and the U.S. Army Reserve from 1972 to 1982.

Among many other commitments to local and civic organizations, he has volunteered with Meals on Wheels of Greenville for over 30 years by delivering meals to the homebound in our community, serving on the Board of Directors for Meals on Wheels of Greenville for several years. He is an active member of First Baptist Church, Greenville and has served on many committees.

Jim is married to Emily Grady Fayssoux and he has in addition to his son, Wally, a daughter who is employed by the School District of Greenville County who has 2 children, now in college.
